Prince Edward County council will decide Tuesday on a staff report recommending they sell surplus property for $2 to the affordable housing corporation.
Staff are recommending council approve the sale of a Disraeli Street property currently owned and unused by the municipality for $2.
The report also suggests council write a letter of support that the land be used to build affordable housing for Indigenous youth and that council transfer $100,000 to the PEC affordable housing corporation to support site preparation and grant costs.
