The second iteration of the curbside culture special weekend wraps up Sunday in Belleville.
In place of what is usually the Belleville Waterfront Festival, due to COVID-19 regulations, the Belleville Chamber of Commerce brought back the curbside culture event after its success in 2020.
Throughout this weekend people could experience foods of the world right in Belleville at a variety of local restaurants, the pop ups on the bay and a few places limited to just this weekend at the fair grounds.
Belleville Chamber of Chief Executive Officer Jill Raycroft said that the weekend was once again a success.
“I think anybody who’s had any of the food has not been disappointed. We saw a couple of people yesterday [Saturday] that had come through on Friday and just said it was so good they wanted to get it again. This is the weekend to get to the fairgrounds, today [Sunday] is the day 11-5 if you want to catch any of those special featured food trucks that are here.”
Available until Sunday at 5 p.m. only at the Belleville fairgrounds are German food truck Berlin 95, Thairific, Jim’s Pizzeria, Beaver tails and more.
You can visit the Belleville Waterfront Festival website to find more information on the curbside culture event for the summer and you can get your curbside culture passport at the log cabin on Moira Street East or online.
