Highway 62 at Foxboro-Stirling has reopened after a serious accident yesterday evening.
According to ScanQuinte on Twitter, at approximately 5 p.m. there was a motor vehicle collision in that area which resulted in one person trapped in a vehicle and needing extrication.
The person was extricated and had serious injuries requiring an Ornge air ambulance.
As a result of the accident Highway 62 was closed both ways between Foxboro-Stirling Road and Old Madoc Road.
Per Ontario 511, the road reopened at 3 a.m.
