An Oak Hills resident has brought in thousands of dollars for a great cause.
Thursday afternoon, 50-year-old financial advisor Marr Carr completed this 100 kilometre cycle for mental health awareness.
Carr began his trip in Stirling-Rawdon, and went through Frankford, Trenton, Consecon, Wellington, Bloomfield, and finished at Quinte’s Isle Campark in Cherry Valley.
Carr says at his last check well over $7,200 had been raised, with more money still to count. The money was presented to Susan Sweetman of Children’s Mental Health Services.
