Mother Nature provided the perfect day last Friday for 111 golfers to hit the links at Black Bear Ridge Golf Course for Hospice Quinte’s 2021 Charity Golf Tournament.
Thanks to the generosity and support of presenting sponsors Peak Construction Group, in addition to 29 other sponsors and many prize donors, Hospice Quinte tripled its goal of $15,000, raising a total of $46,500.
Hospice Quinte Executive Director, Jennifer May-Anderson, said, “We are elated by the success and positive responses that we have received with this being Hospice Quinte’s first charity golf tournament in many years. Tripling our fundraising goal is an incredible accomplishment for Team HQ and true testament of the benevolence of the individuals who are a part of our community.”
All funds raised directly support and enrich the hospice palliative care and bereavement services that Hospice Quinte provides, including the future Hospice Quinte Care Centre.
“Our team is proud to provide our support as the presenting sponsor for Hospice Quinte’s 2021 Charity Golf Tournament,” said Scott Matthews, Partner of Peak Construction Group. “We had a fantastic time participating in the event and are thrilled by its overall success. Congratulations, Hospice Quinte.”
