More than $100,000 is going to The YMCA of Central East Ontario thanks to the 2026 Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign.
Belleville and Stirling locations raised $96,060 during the campaign from April 28 to May 4.
Former Tim Hortons owners Mary and Mark Hanley also contributed $5,000.
This brings the cumulative total raised through the Smile Cookie Campaign to $255,008.07 in support of the YMCA Centre for Life currently being constructed in Belleville.
“These results are a powerful reflection of what’s possible when a community comes together,” said David Allen, YMCA of Central East Ontario President & CEO. “We are incredibly grateful to Tim Hortons owners, volunteers, and every individual who purchased a Smile Cookie in support of the YMCA Centre for Life.”
In recognition of this ongoing partnership and impact, there will be a special legacy feature within the new facility.
The Children’s Treehouse in the new YMCA Centre for Life will be officially named the Tim Hortons Children’s Treehouse.
The names of each Tim Hortons owners, Rachana & Amit Seth, Jamie Smid and Niranjan Panchalingam and previous owners Mary and Mark Hanley will be
prominently recognized within the space.
