It was 424 Transport and Rescue Squadron to the rescue in a local missing person case Sunday night.
OPP were looking for a missing person in the area of Barcovan Beach south of Brighton and asked the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre at CFB Trenton for assistance.
A Griffon helicopter and crew from 424 Squadron took to the air and quickly located the missing person who was then hoisted into the chopper and taken to Trenton quickly for transfer.
