Two women face charges after violent incidents outside a business in the area of North Front and College streets in Belleville Tuesday.
City police were called around 10:30 in the morning after reports a woman had jumped out of a vehicle and assaulted another woman in another vehicle.
Then it’s alleged the driver of the suspect vehicle went on to ram the victim’s car several times before leaving the scene.
Later in the morning 59-year-old Jacqueline Noyes and 35-year-old Nicole Rosatte, both of Belleville, were arrested.
Noyes was charged with dangerous driving and Rosatte with assault. Both are out of custody on strict conditions and appear in court July 29.
Police have video from surveillance cameras in the area and eye witness accounts but are still looking for information.
