Breach of Probation
On June 21, 2021 at approximately 8:19 p.m., police were called to a west end location for a report of a suspicious male. Further investigation revealed that the male had stolen merchandise from a nearby store. Although the employees did not wish pursue charges, officers were advised that the male was currently on probation. Given the circumstances, 31-year-old Nicolas McMath from Belleville was charged with two counts of breach of probation and later released with a court date of July 29, 2021.
Breach of the peace
On June 21, 2021 at approximately 6:24 p.m., police attended a west end location for a report of a male causing a disturbance. Police tried to reason with the male on three separate occasions only to receive further calls from the public of the male yelling at persons walking by. As a result, the 54-year-old Belleville man was arrested for breach of the peace and later released unconditionally.
