A staff member working at Northumberland County’s long term care home has tested positive for COVID-19.
Public Health has declared an outbreak at the Golden Plough Lodge in Cobourg.
The Golden Plough’s management has instituted extra cleaning and isolation measures in the home and is stressing that over 95% of residents have been fully vaccinated against the virus and all consenting staff have received at least one dose of vaccine.
