Northumberland OPP are investigating the theft of a generator worth $30,000 from a construction site east of Colborne.
At approximately 7:30 Wednesday morning, a contractor discovered the mobile generator was missing from the site on Durham Street South in Cramahe Township.
The theft is believed to have happened overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday.
The generator is a grey Wacker Neuson G25 with the serial number 24510406 and a rental equipment code number 96057 affixed to it.
Police are asking anyone who may have information on the matter to call their nearest OPP detachment or to remain anonymous to contact CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
