The warming trend we’ve enjoyed is coming to an abrupt halt. Temperatures are expected to drop to around minus 15 Monday night.
This has caused the City of Belleville to announce that its warming centre at the former Belleville Police station on Dundas East will open its doors to those needing shelter from the cold.
The warming centre will open at 8 o’clock Monday night and close at 8 o’clock Tuesday morning.
