Belleville’s planning committee will hold another public meeting on Monday, looking for input on a proposed hotel on Millennium Parkway.
An initial public meeting for the proposed five-storey hotel was held last summer and after feedback received at that time, the developer has changed its plans to build a four-storey hotel instead, with increased landscaping in the back.
Meanwhile, another public meeting will be held on a proposed 156-home subdivision in east end Belleville on Monday, as well.
The city’s planning committee will hear input on the subdivision in the Hanley Park area, near Victoria Avenue and Haig Road, which is planning for 99 single homes and 57 town homes, along with some space for parks, trails, stormwater management and an area for future development.
Residents will be able to watch the meeting on the city’s YouTube page and provide feedback by emailing the clerk (mtmacdonald@belleville.ca), writing to City Hall, or taking part in the meeting.
You can register to take part by emailing planning@belleville.ca or calling 613-967-3288 and providing the following information:

Those who have registered will be provided with the Zoom meeting information prior to the meeting date.
