The Belleville Police Service responded to 57 calls for service between 5 a.m. on Friday, February 26 and 5 a.m. on Saturday, February 27.
On Friday night at 8:48 p.m., police attended a business on Bridge Street West where an intoxicated man kept trying to get into the business.
Officers attended and located the 32-year-old Havelock resident nearby. He was arrested, and transported to the Belleville Police Service. He was released on a Provincial Offence Notice for being intoxicated in a public place.
A little later around 9:15 p.m., police attended an address on Front Street in regards to two suspicious people hanging around the hallways. Police attended and a record check of a man indicated the he was wanted for breach of probation. Bradley Hamilton Proud, a 23-year-old Belleville resident, was arrested and transported to the Belleville Police. He was released on an undertaking with a court date of March 25, 2021.
