A weather advisory is in effect from Environment Canada with a band of snow causing visibility issues and making area roads slippery and dangerous.
A few accidents have been reported to our newsroom this afternoon, including a single vehicle rollover on Highway 37 near O’Brien’s Bridge and Thrasher Road.
Reports indicate that everyone got out of the vehicle safely and there was no word on any serious injuries.
Prince Edward OPP have had to deal with multiple minor crashes as well that are being attributed to the weather.
The snow is expected to continue on and off through the evening, with a chance of freezing drizzle at some points as well, so drivers should use caution and be sure to drive according to the conditions.
