Three people have been charged after a traffic stop in Quinte West Thursday night.
Officers pulled over a car on Glen Miller Road around 9:00 p.m. and say the driver, who gave a fake name, was already wanted by another police service.
Police say a pair of brass knuckles were found in the car, along with two other prohibited weapons, an amount of suspected fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.
34 year-olds Michael Bird and Channing Emond of Belleville, and 34 year-old Sara Lougheed of Quinte West were all charged with two counts of unauthorized possession of a weapon and trafficking Fentanyl.
Bird was also charged with obstructing a peace officer, driving while prohibited and breaching probation.
Lougheed was released with a March 8 court date, while the other two accused were held for bail hearings.
