The Belleville Terry Fox Run did well despite it being a virtual event.
Organizer Vicki Samaras was thrilled to announce that over $30,000 has been raised locally.
Last year, during a normal Terry Fox Run event based out of Zwick’s Park, close to $40,000 was raised.
For this year’s virtual event Samaras says over 120 people signed on to take part and raise money for cancer research.
