A Belleville woman faces six Highway Traffic Act charges and one drug charge after being stopped by Cobourg police officers yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.
A vehicle with unregistered licence plates was pulled over on Chapel Street in Cobourg and the driver, 26-year-old Naomi Sheward, was found to be operating the vehicle without a licence and charged with possession of an illegal drug.
She will appear in Cobourg court to answer to the charges.
