The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation has hit its IV Smart Pump Campaign target thanks to members of the Lions Club.
The local Lions Club and others in the district, were able to raise $100,000 over the past year, which has been matched by Lions International and donated to the hospital foundation, helping them to reach their $335,000 goal.
TMHF Executive Director Wendy Warner says the money will be used to buy the remainder of the 67 new IV Smart Pumps, which deliver critical fluids and drugs to patients.
Warner says the foundation has seen plenty of generous donations over the course of the pandemic and this is just another example of the community backing its hospital.
Warner also took a moment to thank all of the other community organizations, citizens and local businesses, who helped them reach their goal.
