Belleville Police report a few incidents between July 10, 2020 at 5 a.m. to July 11, 2020 at 5 a.m.
Attempted Break and Enter
Belleville Police say on July 10, 2020 at 9:51 a.m., officers attended a business on Front Street between Victoria Avenue and Bridge Street. The owner of the business reported that somebody had attempted to break into his business. The attempt was sometime overnight between 8:00 p.m. Thursday night and 9:30 a.m. Friday morning.There are no suspects at this time.
Mischief
On July 10, 2020 at 10:53 a.m., officers attended an address on Lemoine Street. The owner of the residence went out to his vehicle and noticed that one of his tires was flat. He checked his video surveillance and observed three men in his yard during the night. The investigation is ongoing with officers attempting to identify the men in the video.
Theft
On July 10, 2020 at 6:07 p.m., police arrived at Canadian Tire on Bell Blvd. in regards to a theft. A man described as 5”6 with curly dark hair, white complexion, glasses, blue jeans, a black helmet and a French accent, took four e-bike batteries from the store without paying. The man was last seen travelling west on Bell Blvd. Police have retrieved video to identify the suspect. If you have any information on this incident contact the Belleville Police.
