Charges have been laid in connection to a crash on the eastbound Highway 401 yesterday (Monday) afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the two-vehicle crash in the Quinte West area around 3:00 p.m. and one of the drivers involved was arrested at the scene.
Police say they’ve charged a 27-year-old man from Quebec with impaired driving, dangerous driving and driving with open alcohol in the car.
Joshua Gwyther has had his licence suspended for 90 days, his vehicle impounded for a week and will appear in Belleville Court on June 18.
