Police have seized drugs and weapons after executing a search warrant at a home on Main Street in Deseronto this morning.
The OPP Street Crime Unit and Emergency Response team raided the home and found suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, cash, guns, brass knuckles, a Taser-like device and airsoft postols.
The following six people are all facing charges:
- 40-year-old Amanda Holland of Deseronto
- 23-year-old Brock Alkenbrack of Deseronto
- 18-year-old Caiden Hazelwood of Deseronto
- 22-year-old Allan Pierce of Stone Mills Township
- 18-year-old Karakwontonh Maracle of Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory
- 17-year-old whose name is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act
The alleged offences include:
- unauthorized possession of a firearm
- possession of a prohibited device for a dangerous purpose
- possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
- possession of property obtained by crime
- possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking x 2
Pierce was further charged with disobeying a court order and all of the suspects have been released with scheduled court dates in Napanee, in July.
