A joint police investigation into the illegal sale of various drugs locally has led to a total of 16 charges against three people from Belleville.
Members of the Belleville Police Service and OPP searched a home in the west end of Belleville this past Thursday evening, as part of Project Renewal and found 16.8 grams of Fentanyl, 12 grams of cocaine, 26 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 209 Xanax pills and 32 Morphine pills.
Investigators are estimating the combined street value of the drugs around $8,880.
They also found a pair of double-barrel 12 guage shot guns, a lever action rifle, along with a mini crossbow, nunchuks and ammunition.
43-year-old Raymond Lloyd of Belleville is charged with:
– Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Fentanyl
– Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
– Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Xanax
– Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Morphine
Lloyd was held for a show cause hearing on May 8, 2020.
46-year-old Sharon McAlpine of Belleville is charged with:
– Unauthorized possession of a firearm x 3
– Unauthorized possession of ammunition
McAlpine was released with a court date July 13, 2020.
43-year-old Ryan Rodrigues of Belleville is charged with:
– Possession of Methamphetamine
– Unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon
– Unauthorized possession of a weapon while prohibited x 2
McAlpine was released with a court date July 13, 2020.
