On Friday, May 8, the City of Belleville will be opening the two public boat launches on Herchimer Avenue and South George Street. The launches have been closed in alignment with the Provincial government’s COVID-19 regulations.
Those accessing the launches are reminded to practice physical distancing. Please launch and leave to avoid group gatherings. Boaters will find coin-operated machines at the sites for launch payments. Fishing from any city park shoreline is prohibited at this time, including the area surrounding the launches.
Following government guidelines, the marinas remain closed to the public. Recent government changes are permitting staff to prepare the marinas for opening dates which are yet to be determined.
