Corrections Staff at Bath Institution near Kingston have made a seizure of contraband while going through an inmate’s personal effects in the admissions and discharge area on Tuesday.
Officers found three cell phones, seven SIM cards, three charging cables and 150 grams of tobacco.
All in, the estimated institutional value of the contraband is about $12,000.
There was no word on any further charges to the inmate involved.
