Central Hastings OPP have laid charges after responding to a call about two abandoned vehicles on an ATV trail behind a property on Highway 62 in Gilmour, this past Saturday.
Officers went to the scene just before noon where they saw a white Jeep and white Bobcat, and ended up arresting two people.
Forty-three-year-old Christopher Fitzell of Tudor-Cashel Township is charged with theft over $5,000, mischief over $5,000 and two counts of failing to appear in court.
Thirty-one-year-old Katrina Whitten of Southgate Township was charged with theft over $5,000 and mischief over $5,000.
Fitzell was held in custody and has a bail hearing scheduled for tomorrow, while Whitten was released with a June 4 court date.
