The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating the death of a woman in the City of Quinte West.
OPP officers, Hastings-Quinte Paramedic Services and Quinte West Firefighters were called to a residence on Ferry Street at approximately 4:00 p.m. on April 24, 2020. It was reported a female was in medical distress. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased has been identified as Audri Vickers, age 32 of Quinte West. A post mortem examination was conducted on April 25, 2020. The cause of death continues to be investigated at this time.
The investigation remains ongoing with members of the Quinte West OPP Crime Unit under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).
