There are some basic rules being put in place on the Glenora and Wolfe Island ferries, as we continue to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Under the Shipping Canada Act, all passengers using the ferry will be asked to stay in their vehicles unless they absolutely need to get out, in the interest of the safety of passengers and ferry crew.
Passengers are also asked to limit close contact with others and if you do happen to be walking on board, use the recommended two-metre social distancing gap from others and respect personal space.
Communications Services Coordinator Alex Westendorp says they are continuing to monitor the “rapidly evolving situation” and will update rules or services as needed.
