Hastings Prince Edward Public Health says there continue to be no lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in our area.
In an afternoon update Medical Officer of Health Dr. Piotr Oglaza says there has been no change in the numbers and the risk of community transmission from cases identified at CFB Trenton remains low.
He says the Federal Government, Ontario Ministry of Health, Canadian Red Cross and the health unit have been following all protocols to prevent the spread of infection since the most recent plane of repatriated Canadians arrived.
Oglaza is reminding people to stay home as much as possible and to continue to practice social distancing and infection control measures, to prevent the spread of the virus.
