Trenton Golden Hawks Head Coach and General Manager Peter Goulet has been named the Ontario Junior Hockey League’s executive of the year.
In his first season with the G-Hawks, Goulet led Trenton to a 40-10-1-3 record, which was tied for second-best in the 22-team OJHL.
Trenton was also ranked 13th in the country in the Canadian Junior Hockey League’s final national rankings on March 2.
Goulet oversaw a complete overhaul of the Trenton roster, with just five players from the 2018-19 season remaining on the G-Hawks’ roster through the end of the 2020 season.
Prior to coming to Trenton, Goulet had been a coach and executive with the now-defunct Kingston Voyageurs and also served various coaching and scouting roles at the professional level as well.
