With the AHL season on pause, the Belleville Senators and food provider Spectra have teamed up to make sure unused food at CAA Arena doesn’t go to waste.
Spectra has made a donation to the Gleaners Food Bank in Belleville that includes cases of lettuce and peppers, along with flats of onions, cucumbers and tomatoes, as well as 50 pounds of potatoes and some fresh herbs.
It’s a continuation of the ongoing partnership between the Senators and the food bank, with Spectra also donating assorted leftover items from the three B-Sens home games that were played in March as well.
