The February building numbers are in from the City of Quinte West.
Forty-six permits were issued last month, with a construction value of more than $4.1 million, including permits for eight new homes.
While 13 more permits were issued compared to February 2019, the building value is down from last year, by a little more than $410,000.
Year-to-date numbers show the number of permits and construction value are both down, compared to the first two months of last year, with 68 permits issued at a value of almost $6.7 million.
Through February last year, 74 permits had been issued in Quinte West, with a construction value of more than $9.2 million.
