A boil water advisory for residents in Ameliasburgh is still ongoing as officials wait on water test results.
The advisory was put in place on Wednesday after what Prince Edward County officials called a “plumbing failure” and will remain in place until two sets of clean water tests come back to Hastings Prince Edward Public Health.
Until that time, residents on the municipal drinking water system in Ameliasburgh are urged to bring water to a rapid boil for at least one minute, before consuming it or using it to wash food, or make baby formula.
