Northumberland County Council has elected its new Warden, as we head into 2020.
Port Hope Mayor Bob Sanderson will take that role for the first time, as he enters his second term as a member of Northumberland County Council.
Northumberland Councillors also elected a Deputy Warden for the first time, choosing Trent Hills Mayor Bob Crate to take that job and “ensure business continuity when the warden is absent”.
Both positions have one-year terms.
