A couple more break-ins have been reported in the Quinte Region, this time at businesses in Prince Edward County, overnight last night.
Businesses were broken into in Picton and Wellington, with a black Casio cash register holding about $275 taken from one and close to $2,000 taken from the other.
The OPP’s Forensic Identification Services Unit is assisting in the investigation and while it’s not known if the break-ins are connected, police are asking residents to be on the look out for any suspicious activity in their neighbourhoods.
Anyone who might have information on these break-ins is also being asked to call County OPP or Crimestoppers.
