Northumberland OPP are looking into a string of break-ins at businesses in Warkworth, between this past Sunday and Tuesday.
The first happened at a business at the corner of Old Hastings Road and County Road 25, where suspects broke in through a locked patio door and stole cash, pay cheques, gift certificates and a large amount of liquor including two cases of Coors Light beer, some bottles of wine and expensive brands of scotch.
Another business on Mill Street was entered overnight this past Monday, but police haven’t said if anything was stolen, just yet.
