A former key member of the Belleville Bulls hockey operations staff has been injured and a campaign has begun to help support his family during the holiday season.
Former Bulls’ athletic therapist Ryan Bennett was injured in a freak accident at his home last week and is in the Intensive Care Unit at hospital in Kingston, with what sources tell Quinte News are “significant injuries”.
He is conscious but has a long road to recovery and is expected to be in the hospital for close to eight more weeks.
After the Bulls left town, Bennett spent time with the Kingston Frontenacs, before moving on to his current job working in the Athletic Department at Queen’s University.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to support his family and you can visit that link by clicking here.
