Free Flow Petroleum- Minor Peewee
A busy week for the Minor Peewees, the team took to the road on Monday, to meet up with the Ajax Pickering Raiders. Scoring for Quinte, in a 3-2 win: Kaden Koutroulides with two goals (Ryland Cunningham and Jack Foley) and Owen Rivers (Matthew Airhart).
This weekend was spent in Hamilton, enduring many exciting, intense and hard-fought games. Katste Brant, between the pipes for Quinte’s first game of the tournament and a 4-3 win against the Southern Tier Admirals. Red Devils goals were scored by: Kaden Koutroulides (from Cunningham and Foley), Blake Brown (Tavin MacDonald), Cunningham (Foley), Koutroulides (Foley and Cunningham).
Next up, an eventful game A 4-2 victory against Burlington Eagles, Katste Brant in net for the win. Goals scored by: Foley (unassisted), Tavin MacDonald (Riley Reid and Kolby Craig), Matthew Airhart (Carson Lynch and MacDonald) and Kaden Koutroulides (unassisted).
On day two, the Minor Peewee’s met up with the Brampton 45’s. Carson Lynch (Cooper Kelly and Matthew Airhart) had the lone goal of the game, to snag a 1-0 Quinte Red Devils victory. Cohen Bedore receiving the shutout.
Markham Majors 2-1 loss, saw Jacob Moore (assist to Jack Foley) with the lone Quinte goal.
An unfortunate ending to the weekend, our Red Devils were eliminated in quarter-final action, by the Guelph Gryphons. Nevertheless, this was a weekend to be proud of – three wins, one shutout and great team play!!
McInroy Maines Construction- Major Midget
The Quinte McInroy-Maines Midget Red Devils competed at the Hill Academy bClutch tournament this weekend.

Game 5: 1-0 loss to Toronto Canadians
Ethan Fraser was strong in net.
The Devils played short staffed all weekend and the coaching staff was very impressed with the effort of the players.
QRD forward Lucas Culhane missed Game 3 to compete in the ETA-SCTA Midget All Star game. Culhane scored the first goal for the ETA side in a 3-2 ETA win.
Bonn Law- Major Bantam
The Bonn Law Major Bantams hosted Ajax on Saturday and skated to an exciting 5-4 win, with lots of action in the third period. Aidan Crowley played goal for QRD.
Scoring recorded by Aiden Haller Brady, Ethan Miedema (2), Jack Dever and Cal Uens. Assists were credited to Trent Williams, Duncan Schneider, Dever (2), Uens, Ben Davy (2), Tyson Carr and Justin Murdoch.
The boys host Kingston Wednesday at 7:30 at the CAA arena before taking the road to face Markham and York Simcoe Express on the weekend.
World Elite Training- Major Atom
The World Elite Training Atoms had a busy weekend with three games on the schedule. On Friday, they faced off against the Kingston Jr. Gaels.
Maclean Chisholm started off the scoring with a goal during the second period (assisted by Wyatt Whalen). Kingston’s goalie was rock solid and not making it easy for the Devils. Chisholm fired in a rebound from Camden Sloan for another unanswered goal. Kingston pulled their goalie and Chisholm scored an empty netter and a hat trick! Charlie Vos got the shutout in net. Quinte won 3-0 against the Jr. Gaels.
On Saturday, the Devils hosted the Ajax-Pickering Raiders. The game was scoreless until late in the second period when the Raiders got on the board first. Late in the third, Chisholm found the back of the net. Quinte fought hard to come back from behind but fell short and took the 2-1 loss against the Raiders.
On Sunday, the World Elite Training Atoms hosted their second home game of the weekend where they took on the Oshawa Generals. Quinte fell behind in the second period and despite a good effort, could not get past the Oshawa goalie. The Devils lost 3-0 against the Generals.
Next week, Quinte takes on the top two placed teams when they face off against the Express and the Coyotes.
Madison Excavating- Minor Bantam
The Madison Excavating Minor Bantams has only one game this past week as they hosted the Barrie Colts this past Sunday at QSWC.
The Devils would hit the scoreboard first with a shot from Braedyn Rogers, assisted by Nolan Donnelly and Ben Danford. The Colts would tie it 1-1 in the dying seconds of the first. The second period would end with no change in the board. Quinte took the lead again in the third with a goal from Donnelly, assisted by Brody Partridge. Barrie would tie it again before the end of the set and the Devils would settle for a tie. Mike McIvor was in net.
Alliance Spray Foam Insulation- Minor Atom
The Devils continued their winning way this past weekend defeating the Clarington Toro’s 5-2 to improve to 16-2-3 and remain on top of the standings.
On Sunday in Madoc, the Devils got into penalty trouble early in the game and the Toro’s capitalized, scoring two powerplay goals and jumped out to a 2-0 lead.
Lauchlan Whelan started the come back for the Devils early in the 2nd period, assisted by Brechyn Aird. Brechyn Aird would then tie the game 3 minutes later assisted by Kade Scaletta and Lawson Minifie.
The Alliance Spray Foam Devils would then pour it on in the 3rd, scoring 3 unanswered goals from Whelan, Trent Clow and Mason VanHuizen, with assists to Scaletta, Coen Lowry (2), VanHuizen, Andrew Dewar, and Trent Clow.
Up next for the Devils is York Simcoe on the road on Saturday, and Peterborough in Madoc on Sunday.
Pita Pit- Major Peewee
The Pita Pit Peewees took part in the Hamilton Jr Bulldogs tournament on the weekend. In their first game they played Lambton Jr Sting and fell short in this game with a 2-1 loss. Lone goal came from Owen Cassidy with an assist to Rylan McCormack. Liam Boyer was solid in net for the Devils.
Game 2 vs Amherst Knights
The Devils came out with a 4-0 victory.
Goal scorers- Evan Erwin 2, Ben Sherwin and Mason Boyer.
Assists- Erwin, Sherwin 2, Deke Osterhout and Sam Thompson. Reece Herman got the shutout for Quinte.
Game 3 vs Niagara North Stars.
These 2 teams battled it out to a 1-1 draw.
Lone goal came from Osterhout assisted by Erwin and Cassidy.
Liam Boyer was solid in net for the Devils.
Game 4 vs Ottawa Valley Titans.
In a must win situation to make the quarter finals on Sunday the Devils were never really in this one as they fell to the titans 4-1.
Erwin scored the only goal and Reece Herman was in net for the Devils.

Wednesday in Belleville against Kingston.
Saturday in Napanee against North Central.
Sunday in Richmond Hill.
