Provincial Police are looking into a break-in at a Norwood restaurant where $700 cash was stolen.
Investigators were called to the business on Highway 7, just before 6:00 a.m. yesterday (December 4) and say someone got into Becky’s Hometown Cafe and Diner, sometime overnight and took off with the cash.
The suspect, who was caught on a security camera, got in through a window. and is described as 6’5”, and about 220 lbs.
He was wearing a zipped up hooded sweatshirt, sweat pants, running shoes, work gloves and a balaclava.
Police say they’ll be providing a photo once it’s available and are asking anyone who might have any information on the break-in to contact them or Crimestoppers.
