A speed limit change is coming to a section of road on the boundary of Quinte West and Belleville.
The speed limit will change from 80 kilometres per hour to 60 kilometres per hour on a section of Sidney Street, between Maitland Drive and Vermilyea Road.
Director of Public Works Chris Angelo tells Quinte News the speed limit change request came from Belleville’s traffic committee, but since the road shares a boundary, both councils had to approve it.
Angelo is expecting new speed signs to go up in the next week or so.
