Two people, including a woman from Belleville, have been charged after a dispute in a Kingston hotel room.
Kingston Police responded to the downtown hotel around 2:30 this past Sunday morning, after a number of people staying there contacted them about an ongoing fight in one of the rooms.
The investigation found that the pair, who had been in an on-and-off relationship for about three years, began fighting after the woman allegedly confronted the man about talking to other women at a bar earlier in the night.
Police say the woman hit the man, who then wrapped his arm around her neck and she allegedly bit him on the arm during the struggle.
Both the 48-year-old woman from Belleville and the 49-year-old man were arrested, charged with assault and released with future court dates.
