Bancroft OPP have laid charges in connection with a structure fire earlier this week.
Officers and fire crews responded to the blaze on Highway 62, around 2:45 a.m. this past Monday and a 29-year-old man was arrested at the scene, following a police investigation.
Police say they’ve charged Mathew McCormick of Bancroft with arson causing damage to property and arson with disregard for human life.
He was scheduled to appear for a bail hearing yesterday (November 5).
