The Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is making a significant commitment to “back the build” for a new hospital in The County.
In 2015 the auxiliary committed $1 million to the new hospital campaign and continued that with a $100,000 donation at its annual general meeting Tuesday.
The auxiliary is made up of volunteers who spend time at the hospital and the group says backing the build is an easy one to make, calling the hospital “one of the high priority assets in the community”.
