Mr. Moosey is moving on to his next stop in the Quinte Region.
After spending some time with Military Police at CFB Trenton, the stuffed moose from Pennsylvania, was passed off to the Belleville Police Service at Loyalist College Wednesday.
Staff Sergeant Rene Aubertin says Mr. Moosey will take part in some special events, including one this weekend.
And Sergeant Matthew Tremblay of CFB Trenton Military Police, who received Moosey last week, says Belleville is just one more stop on his world tour.
Moosey has been travelling around the US and Western Canada, as a symbol of protection for police and other emergency responders and Quinte is his first stop in Ontario.
