Belleville police responded to 296 calls for service from 5 a.m. on May 29, 2026 to 5 a.m. on June 1, 2026.
Intimate Partner Violence
On May 31, 2026 at 11:08 a.m., Belleville police responded to a residence in the city’s north end regarding a domestic dispute. It was reported that a male had made threats towards a female but had left the residence prior to police arrival. As a result of police investigation, officers located, arrested and charged a 48-year-old Corbyville man with:
· Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm – spousal
He was held for a bail hearing.
Impaired Driver
On May 30, 2026 at 8:10 p.m., Belleville police responded to a report of a suspected impaired driver in the city’s east end.
Officers located the suspect vehicle and as a result of investigation, Dillon Detlor, a 35-year-old Stirling man, was arrested and charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration over 80mg. He was charged additionally for having care or control of a motor vehicle with an open container of liquor.
He was released on an undertaking with a scheduled court date in July.
Warrants
On May 30, 2026 at 11:40 p.m., Belleville police, while on general patrol, observed a female on Dundas Street West known to have multiple outstanding arrest warrants with the Belleville Police Service.
As a result, officers arrested Jaquelin Bloor, a 34-year-old Belleville woman, on the strength of the arrest warrants. She was held for a bail hearing.
