A frustrated and angry student’s words at Belleville’s Centennial Secondary School yesterday afternoon, in conjunction with social media, caused quite a commotion.
Belleville police officers were called by the school to deal with an unruly student. While the police were there the student yelled threats.
However, school officials and police quickly calmed the student and the issue was resolved.
However, as Staff Sergeant Rene Aubertin explains, social media pushed the matter over the top.
Meanwhile, police officers went back to the students home after school hours and found the situation to be fine.
Classes are being held as usual.
There will be an officer at Centennial Secondary today to answer any questions.
