Napanee OPP have charged a 27-year-old Brampton man with careless driving following an accident on the 401 last week.
On Friday night shortly before 10 p.m. officers were called to a collision on the westbound 401 near Switzerville Road where a tractor trailer had lost control and struck the guardrail before coming to a stop in the ditch.
The highway was closed for a couple of hours.
Harminder Singh is also facing entering false information in his daily log charges.
