A major road extension project is back on the table for Belleville Council.
Rosemary Judd-Archer representing Belleville East Enders (a Group of Concerned Local Residents) will make a deputation to council at Monday’s meeting, providing information from its perspective on the Haig Road/Station Street extension.
This extension would run from its present northern end at Oak Ridge Boulevard north of Spruce Gardens to an extended Station Street, through the Hickory Grove subdivision.
At the February 12 council meeting, after listening to a presentation from concerned residents of the east end Hickory Grove area, council tabled a motion calling for a staff report with other options.
That will be presented to council.
Council meets at 4 p.m. Monday afternoon at City Hall.
