The east end of Belleville was an angry place Tuesday.
City police responded to a report of a 28-year-old man assaulting a 47-year-old woman at an east side residence. Police are looking for the suspected assailant. There were no injuries.
At 8 o’clock Tuesday night, also in the east end, police responded after a 16-year-old girl complained of being assaulted by an 18-year-old boy. Officers arrested a suspect on the west side of town and found him to be in breach of his probation. He was charged. No one was injured.
And at 11:30 Belleville police responded again to an east end residence after an unwanted person kicked a door in and assaulted a 26-year-old woman. A 27-year-old man was arrested at the scene and charged with assault, mischief and breach of probation. Again, no one was injured.
