A 17-year-old from the Quinte region has died, after a crash early Saturday morning.
Napanee OPP, fire and EMS members were called to Highway 2 and Violet Road, east of Napanee, where there was a two vehicle head-on crash shortly after midnight.
A second crash resulted when a minivan struck one of the vehicles involved in the first collision.
The 17-year-old in the second vehicle died, while a 20-year-old driver of the same vehicle was taken to hospital.
The driver of the third vehicle was not injured.
The road was closed for hours, while the OPP Technical Traffic Collision crew investigated.
